The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
